Privacy policy

Information and purposes

IP addresses and access records may be processed to deliver and secure the site. Pages viewed, referring pages, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers may be processed to understand site usage. If you contact us, we use your email address and message to respond and handle your request.

Retention and deletion

After handling an inquiry, the operator deletes related received and sent emails unless retention is required by law. Gmail normally permanently deletes messages from the trash after up to 30 days. Google Analytics retains ordinary event data for 2 months and user and key event data for 14 months. New activity resets the user data retention period. These settings do not apply to standard aggregated reports. Cloudflare security events are retained for up to 31 days.

Service providers and international processing

• Cloudflare, Inc.: Processes IP addresses and access records for site delivery and security, and forwards inquiry emails to Gmail through Email Routing. Connection metadata may be processed in the United States and Europe; email routing locations may vary by service. Privacy information  (new tab)
• Google LLC: Google Analytics uses page views, referrals, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers for usage analysis and improvement of Google products and services. Gmail stores inquiry email addresses and messages. Loading YouTube thumbnails or opening an embedded player by selecting a video may send connection information, including your IP address, to Google. The player uses privacy-enhanced mode, which does not block the external connection. Data may be processed in multiple regions, including the United States. Privacy information  (new tab)
• OpenFreeMap (Hyperknot Software Kft.): Opening the places page connects to tiles.openfreemap.org to display maps, sending connection information such as your IP address. The operator is based in Hungary. Its policy states that ordinary access logs exclude IP addresses and logs are deleted after 7 days. Logs containing IP addresses during security investigations are retained for up to 30 days. Privacy information  (new tab)

Information is sent over the network when you visit the site, load external content or send an inquiry email. OpenFreeMap connects when the places page opens. Retention for analytics, inquiry emails and site security is described above. OpenFreeMap retention is listed in its entry, and YouTube retention follows Google’s policy. Following an external link is subject to that site’s policies.

Cookies and your rights

Google Analytics may use cookies, and session storage supports navigation and the state of the experience. You can manage cookies and site data in your browser. To request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing, or to ask a privacy question, contact us below. The person responsible for personal information protection is Kim Yeonjoong, administrator.

The Google Analytics opt-out add-on can limit analytics data sent from your browser. It does not block transfers to other services.

For privacy inquiries or reports, contact the Korea Internet & Security Agency privacy center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, 118 in Korea). For dispute mediation, contact the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (www.kopico.go.kr, +82-1833-6972).
